The AIHT 2012 takes place on the 26th and 27th of May 2012
Every year Handballclub VOC Amsterdam organizes a two days International Handball Tournament for top ladies teams in the categories A-, B- and C-Youth named abbreviated “AIHT”. The tournament lasts 2 days and ends with a final per category where teams try to win the “Rie Bonsen Trophy”. The name Rie Bonsen refers to Mrs. Rie Bonsen, she has been active for the club for many decades. VOC Amsterdam honors her for the activities she has been done by naming the tournaments trophy the Rie Bonsen Trophy.
The categroies are accorfing international standards:
- Girls A-Youth born in the year 1992 (and younger)
- Girls B-Youth born in the year 1995 (and younger)
- Girls C-Youth born in the year 1998 (and younger)
There is no open subsrciption to participate the AIHT, the tournament comittee invites teams based on their achievings and talent so that the Quality of the tournament is garanteed. In 2010 and 2011 the tournament was a big succes, the goal in 2012 is to make the succes even bigger. AIHT 2012 takes place on Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27th 2012 and will be played in two sporthalls in Amsterdam.. The tournament committee in 2012 :
